Chicken Marsala Recipe
- 4 Boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- Salt and ground black pepper, to taste
- 1/2 cup All-purpose flour, for dredging
- 2 tbsp Olive oil
For the Marsala Sauce:
- 2/3 cup Marsala wine
- 1 cup Chicken broth
- 1 cup Sliced mushrooms (Cremini or button mushrooms work well)
- 1 Shallot
- 2 tbsp Fresh parsley, chopped
- 1 tbsp Fresh rosemary or Thyme (your preference)
- Salt and freshly black pepper, to taste
- 2 tbsp All-purpose flour
- 2 tbsp butter
Prepare the Chicken
- Start by pounding the chicken breasts between two sheets of plastic wrap until they are about 1/4 inch thick. This will ensure even cooking.
- Season the chicken with salt and pepper.
- Dredge the chicken in flour, shaking off any excess.

- In a large skillet, heat 2 tablespoons of olive oil over medium-high heat.
