To our Valued Customers

As of April 8, 2021 the Province of Ontario as a whole has now moved from the Grey zone to a “Stay at Home Order” per Provincial Covid-19 guidelines. What does this mean? All retail outlets are closed for in-person shopping other than grocery stores and pharmacies. Groceries and pharmacies will be required to ensure all patrons and employees wear a non-medical mask or face covering and maintain social distancing and will be subject to a capacity limit of 50%. In the event that a store at 50% capacity limit cannot maintain proper social distancing of 2 metres then capacity will be determined by only allowing the number of patrons in the store that can maintain 2 metres of separation. Stores will have signs posted requiring customers to self-screen.  If you do not pass the self-screen, you should not enter.

At Halenda’s stores, we take great pride in the health and safety of both our customers and our staff.  We also have our online store available to you where you can order product and pay online and have it picked up curbside at all Halenda locations in Durham and Mississauga. If you prefer calling the store and talking to one of our friendly staff that works too. We can take your order over the phone, bring your order out to your car when you arrive and you can pay using our mobile debit/credit terminal. We are beginning to see the light at the end of the pandemic tunnel with vaccine rollouts already underway. Until that time we appreciate your co-operation in helping to keep each other safe and healthy.

Thank you for your continued patronage.
We wish you the best!Richard Halenda
