With the rise in cases of COVID-19, I wanted to reach out with assurances from the company.
First, and most important, please know the health and wellbeing of you, your families and our Halenda’s Team Members is our top priority. We want you to feel confident that we remain diligent in our commitment to providing a safe environment for all who visit our stores. As a result, we’ve taken enhanced measures with our on-site cleaning procedures and Team Member education. These include:
- Reviewing and continuing to implement sanitation procedures at the store level
- Providing hand sanitizer or hand soap in convenient locations for you, your families, and Team Members
- Increasing sanitation frequency of high-touch areas such as grocery carts, checkouts, cooler doors and building doors
- Retraining Team Members on safety and sanitation practices.
Additionally, Team Members are instructed to stay home if they’re feeling ill, and those who don’t need to be on-site at our stores or production plants are encouraged to work from home.
We are closely monitoring updates on the situation from local, provincial and federal health authorities, including those in Toronto, Durham and Peel, the Government of Ontario and the Government of Canada, as well as international organizations.
We are committed to continuing to bring you quality, government-inspected products and will do our best to remain stocked up on the products you need and love. We appreciate your patience as we keep up with the demand.
