Shrimp & Kobassa Skewers With White Wine Garlic Butter

Indulge your taste buds in a culinary adventure with the delightful combination of succulent shrimp and award-winning Kobassa from Halenda Meats. These Shrimp & Kobassa Skewers with White Wine Garlic Butter are a feast for the senses, offering a perfect blend of flavours that will leave you craving more. The simplicity of the recipe makes it an ideal choice for both casual gatherings and special occasions.

  • 10 large shrimp (cleaned and shells removed)
  • 10 Kobassa pieces (sliced about same thickness as the shrimp)
  • 10 wooden skewers 

White Wine Garlic Butter ingredients:

  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter 
  • 5 cloves garlic 
  • black pepper to taste 
  • 1 tbsp dried parsley
  • 1/4 tsp chili flakes 
  • 1/4 cup white wine


  • Skewer shrimp and Kobassa pieces in an alternating pattern.
  • Brush with vegetable oil and cook skewers on griddle or frying pan. 
  • While they cook, in a small pan add the garlic butter ingredients. Bring it to a bubbling boil and stir until well incorporated. 
  • When the kobassa gets a nice golden crust start to brush skewers with garlic butter on all sides.  Turning and brushing until shrimp is fully cooked. 
  • This is such an easy and delicious treat that is perfect as an appetizer or over a bed of rice.
