This recipe uses are Halenda's Peameal Bacon. Our Par-Baked Peameal Bacon is different from all the rest. We start with large, lean & tender boneless pork loins, cure them and roll them in cornmeal. We partially bake the peameal to save you time and lock in freshness.

  • 1 Package Halenda's Award-Winning Peameal Bacon
  • Tater Tots (12 per sandwich)
  • 1 Egg (Per Sandwich)
  • Cheese Slices (2 Tbsp per sandwich)


  • Preheat your griddle or pan to medium-high heat.  Begin by preparing your tater tot bun by arranging 6 tater tots tightly together.  Using a spatula something strong and flat, press your tater tots all together.  Grill/cook for 5 minutes each side.
  • Next, grill your amazing peameal bacon.  They are thinly sliced so only 2 minutes on each side will cook this peameal and not dry it out.  Now add your egg and get ready to assemble this delicious ultimate peameal sandwich.
  • To assemble your breakfast sandwich (it's also ok to eat this for breakfast, lunch, or dinner) by adding your first bun, cheese, Halendas peameal bacon, egg, and the last tater tot bun.  Enjoy!
