Richard Halenda receives the Lifetime Member Award
Meat & Poultry Ontario (MPO) celebrated its 40th year at the 2021 Red Carpet Gala, held in Waterloo on November 19. The Gala brings together MPO’s members to honour the family of people that make up the association and celebrates their commitment to both the organization and Ontario’s meat sector.
Since the awards’ inception in 1995, MPO has presented only 13 prestigious Lifetime Member Awards to individuals who have made outstanding contributions to the industry. This year they inducted Richard Halenda, of Halenda’s Fine Foods, into that respected club.
