Halenda’s Proudly Celebrates David Hobson’s Appointment to the Meat & Poultry Ontario Board of Directors

At Halenda’s Meats, we are proud to share that our own David Hobson has been appointed to the 2026 Meat & Poultry Ontario Board of Directors.

David’s appointment is a well-deserved recognition of the leadership, industry knowledge, and dedication he has demonstrated throughout his career. As a respected member of the Ontario meat industry, David has consistently championed quality, innovation, and the growth of locally owned businesses.

Having representation on the Meat & Poultry Ontario Board is a significant accomplishment for both David and Halenda’s. It provides an opportunity to contribute to important conversations that help shape the future of Ontario’s meat and poultry sector while ensuring independent processors and family-owned businesses continue to have a strong voice within the industry.

Meat & Poultry Ontario (MPO) is a not-for-profit association that represents independent meat processors, poultry processors, and related businesses across the province. The organization works to support its members through advocacy, education, industry resources, networking opportunities, and government relations. MPO plays an important role in strengthening Ontario’s meat and poultry sector by promoting industry growth, innovation, food safety, and the long-term success of locally owned businesses.

David’s expertise and involvement at the provincial level help strengthen Halenda’s commitment to excellence.
