HERO AWARD – PROUD HALENDA’S FAMILY MOMENT

We’re excited to share some wonderful news with our Halenda’s Meats family.

Our very own President, Mr. Richard Halenda, and Mrs. Ola Halenda were honoured with the Joe Abate Hero Award by Meat and Poultry Ontario at the Final Butchers Competition 2025. The event took place at beautiful Blue Mountain on October 25, 2025.

This award celebrates their leadership, dedication, and lifelong commitment to excellence in the meat industry. A defining part of the Joe Abate Hero Award is its focus on generosity and community impact, something Richard and Ola have championed throughout their careers. From supporting Feed the Need, to standing proudly behind Team Canada, to being strong supporters of the Ontario Meat and Poultry community and so much more, they continue to lead with heart.

From our humble beginnings to becoming one of Ontario’s most trusted names in fine meats, this is a proud moment for all of us. Every success is rooted in teamwork, craftsmanship, community, and heart, and this recognition highlights the values that guide us every day.
